I was supremely happy, for I had seen. Nothing could ever be the same. I have drunk at the clear and pure waters and my thirst was appeased. ...I have seen the Light. I have touched compassion which heals all sorrow and suffering; it is not for myself, but for the world. ...Love in all its glory has intoxicated my heart; my heart can never be closed. I have drunk at the fountain of Joy and eternal Beauty. I am God-intoxicated.

the ice melts ... and the dust of the ages slowly falls away from me ...

You might want to verify this:

…They very seldom add that in Darwin's main treatise there is to be found the statement: “I hold that all organic beings that have ever lived on this earth have descended from one primordial form into which the creator breathed the breath of life.” (Origin of Species, Vol. II, chapter XV.) —

REINCARNATION AND KARMA, Concepts Compelled by the Modern Scientific Point of view by Dr. Rudolf Steiner.

Your consciousness, your experience of Being, who you really are, is energy. We can call it "Life Energy" for now. This energy does not just live in your brain; it fills your entire body. Your consciousness is connected to every cell in your body. Through your consciousness, you can communicate with every organ and every tissue, and a number of therapies are based on this communication with the organs which have been affected by some kind of symptom or disorder. This energy which is your consciousness, and which reflects your state of consciousness, can be measured through the process known as Kirlian photography.
Your Body Is The Mirror Of Your Life by Martin Brofman, Ph.D.

Here [Psalm 51:7], David again refers to the spiritual washing required for his cleansing. He makes a deliberate request of God to wash Him, knowing that only the cleansing power of Almighty God can make a man clean and pure. Though his sins have covered him in filth and stained him to the very roots of his being, the washing power of God makes a man whiter than snow.

God has such a gentle touch.

Maybe global warming is really a sign that the ice is starting to melt inside all of us. Maybe our outer environment is mirroring our inner environment ... or our emotions in this world.

The Secret Life of Plants

"It means even on the lower levels of life, there is a profound consciousness or awareness that bonds all things together. Published in 1973, The Secret Life of Plants was written by Peter Tompkins and Christopher Bird. It is described as “A fascinating account of the physical, emotional, and spiritual relations between plants and man.” Essentially, the subject of the book is the idea that plants may be sentient, despite their lack of a nervous system and a brain. ....

That said, this book is about much more than just plants; it delves quite deeply into such topics as the aura, psychophysics, orgone, radionics, kirlian photography, magnetism/magnetotropism, bioelectrics, dowsing, and the history of science."

Here is more info:

I just ordered another sheet for another child of mine. I have fibromyalgia and since using the earthing sheet
nightly, my pain is almost non-existent. I used to have severe hip pain from carrying children all day and when I sleep
grounded, it is gone, but if I miss a night due to bad weather or just forgetting, I feel it the next day and I toss and turn
until I realize that I'm "unplugged." In my experience, it takes a good month to really feel the benefits. Your body goes
through a detox initially and for the first week, I felt worse, but then I drastically improved.                 Earthing products.

The closer we get to God the more love we have in our lives.
                                                                                                                                    Feels like home.

Perhaps we learn to be like God by and through suffering - but I also find that sharing love with the Creator/Father also teaches me a lot about being like God - in a way that is much more fun and rewarding than suffering. God teaches me about love in an open and honest way. Perhaps we need some darkness or suffering to help us find the light but nothing seems to work better for me than having a personal and loving relationship with God and myself.

Every problem is related to every other problem so that if you can solve one problem completely – it does not matter what it is – you will see that you are able to meet all other problems easily and resolve them. We are talking of course, of psychological problems. We have already seen that a problem exists only in time, that is when we meet the issue incompletely. So not only must we be aware of the nature and structure of the problem and see it completely, but meet it as it arises and resolve it immediately so that it does not take root in the mind. If one allows a problem to endure for a month or a day, or even for a few minutes, it destroys the mind. …

The kingdom of heaven can be found  with love.

Goal of all Creation. The real happiness which comes through realizing God is worth all physical and mental sufferings in the universe. Then all suffering is as if it were not. The happiness of God-realization is self-sustained, eternally fresh and unfailing, boundless and indescribable; and it is for this happiness that the world has sprung into existence.[3]

Trust in God, who does not abandon those who seek him with a simple and righteous heart. He will not neglect to give you what you need for your path until he delivers you into that clear, pure light of love. You are meant to receive this great gift yet it is only through the dark night of the spirit that he will bring it to you.

"Poor in spirit" is poverty as compared to God's qualities. It is poverty in terms of Holy Spirit. It is to be destitute in regard to the fruit and power of God's Holy Spirit of which we all desperately need. This attitude is the product of self-evaluation in which a person, comparing his own to God's spiritual qualities, finds himself utterly impoverished of any virtue of value to eternal life. Not only that, he finds himself utterly unable, powerless, to help himself to become like God.

Here, Jesus immediately knocks down the claim that He had elevated Himself as equal to God by showing His dependence on God. Though He later claims that He and the Father are one (John 10:30 ), that oneness does not include absolute equality. Rather, He is showing that because of Their oneness, there is perfect communication between Them, with the Father leading the way by showing Him what to do. Jesus humbly claims no absolute equality with the Father but dependence, despite His doing fantastic things like walking on water, healing, and resurrecting a number of people. John 8:26-28 confirms His dependence:

Try to find something that you really enjoy doing and can get so much into that you forget about everything else for a bit.

Laugh if you can.

Have the courage to stand out. The great vice of the ages is conformity. Be strong and fear not, for all obstruction melts away before real strength of deed and sincerity of character. When you triumph, thrice blessed are you. Glory and honor be to those who have the courage to win.

The time has come when every individual must rise from the slumber of indifference, from the orthodox complacency of the standard rules and regulations of society, and reach out, pioneering new fields of beautiful, ethical and spiritual progress. It is now time to experience the incredible majesty of living.

‘While I was conducting my experiments with cacti,’ said Burbank [Luther], ‘I often talked to the plants to create a vibration of love. You have nothing to fear, I would tell them. You don’t need your defensive thorns. I will protect you.’ Burbank’s power of love, reported Hall, greater than any other, was a subtle kind of nourishment that made everything grow better and bear fruit more abundantly.

Perhaps we are all gods in some way on earth in that we do create our own inner world as well as our outer world by our choices and our thoughts. Each and every day we make choices that will determine our future and which affect ourselves and those around us as well, for better or worse.

So, if we cannot create a beautiful loving world around us, in ourselves and here on earth, what makes us think that we could do so on a larger scale somewhere else. This earth seems to be a proving ground. Do it here and you might be allowed to be free. Do not, and you might be stuck here until you learn to live from a space of unconditional love.

What are we creating in our lives? Are our decisions based upon fear? Upon love? Upon lack? Upon a desire for love or security or money or something else?

In fact, there is one fundamental law that all of nature obeys that mankind breaks every day. Now this is a law that has evolved over billions of years and the law is this: nothing in nature takes more than it needs and when it does it becomes subject to this law and it dies off. An ocean, the rainforest, the human body are all cooperatives. A redwood tree doesn’t take all of the soil’s nutrients, just what it needs to grow. A lion doesn’t kill every gazelle, just one.  We have a term for something in the body when it takes more than its share. We call it cancer.

I saw this quote in Raw Faith, which is a movie about the life of Marilyn Sewell, a Unitarian minister.

The question of God is not the question of the existence of some remote infinite being. It is the question of the possibility of hope. The affirmation of faith in God is the acknowledgement that there is a deathless source of power and meaning that can be trusted to nurture and preserve all created good. To deny God is equivalent to denying any ground for hope. Hope begins with the realization that human experience is finally inadequate to deal with all the possibilities reality harbors.

An invisible, ancient source of energy surrounds us—energy that powered the first explorations of the world, and that may be a key to the future. This map shows you the delicate tracery of wind flowing over the US. This is meant to be artistic more than scientific although apparently based upon scientific data but I found it interesting to see how the weather patterns formed. I wonder  what our emotions and feelings look like when they swirl like the wind around us.   Hurricane Sandy       Hurricane Isaac

Just watch the energies flow if anything and in what direction. What direction are the storms going in?

FYI - clockwise means in harmony and flowing naturally with life. Counterclockwise means something is not in harmony and against the natural flow of life or a clearing out as well of old energies. If you feel that we all can affect the weather or our environment by our energies then what might these images have to say to you? Any feelings about this one way or another?

Imagine – a love so gentle that it can hold you in its arms like a Father holds an infant child- yet a love so powerful that it can make grown men (or women) quake in their boots and die of fright.

Remember in the movie Raiders of the Lost Ark when the Nazis opened the Ark of the Covenant? Well, it wasn’t evil that came out of the Ark that killed those men. It was the darkness in their own hearts. See, they couldn’t stand in the presence of God or within the mighty love of God which came out of the Ark of the Covenant and brought all of their evil deeds, darkness and their fears and guilt and everything not of God to the surface all at once. That is what killed them, not God’s love, and that is the strength and power of God’s love. It was their inability to face their own darkness and fears, especially all at once, that frightened them to death. Love does bring our fears and our wounds to the surface for healing and it is a most powerful force for healing. The men in the movie lived from their solar plexus downward and from greed and a desire for power instead of from their heart and the living waters which flow out of the belly of those who choose to live for God.

It is a mighty love of God that humbles me with its power and grace. I have no idea just how big that love is or how powerful. I feel very small in its wake, yet still important to God, knowing that I do not measure up to that kind of love inside of me. Yet I am determined to learn more of this unconditional love for everyone and everything. I am, at the same time, so very grateful for my life and another chance to make different choices.

Lost Angels

This compelling documentary about skid row in Los Angeles finds both desperation and inspiration reflected in the area's indigent population. The stories of eight residents outline the range of causes leading to the nation's current homeless crisis.

For me, desperation slowly turned into courage and strength of the heart.

                                        It’s ALL about the HEART.

The heart heals. The heart communicates. The heart holds life. Love is what does all this. The connection with the Creator and yourself does all these wonderful things and so much more. Peace, strength, the ability to see far, courage, vision, compassion, healing ... you cannot even begin to understand all of this until you get in touch with your own heart. It is so amazing what can be done ... and I just started ... what frontiers could be explored just with the heart.

            Rest in the heart.

"The time will come - and it may not be far off - when quite different tendencies will come up at a congress like the one held in 1912 and people will say: It is pathological for people to even think in terms of spirit and soul.  'Sound' people will speak of nothing but the body.  It will be considered a sign of illness for anyone to arrive at the idea of any such thing as a spirit and - you can be quite sure of it - a medicine will be found for this.  At Constantinople the spirit was made non-existent.  The soul will be made non-existent with the aid of a drug.  Taking a 'sound point of view',  people will invent a vaccine to influence the organism as early as possible,  preferably as soon as it is born,  so that this human body never even gets the idea that there is a soul and spirit.

The two philosophies of life will be in complete opposition.  One movement will need to reflect how concepts and ideas may be developed to meet the reality of soul and spirit.  The others, the heirs of modern materialism,  will look for the vaccine to make the body 'healthy', that is, makes its constitution such that this body no longer talks of such rubbish as soul and spirit, but takes a 'sound' view of the forces which live in engines and in chemistry and let planets and suns arise from nebulae in the cosmos.  Materialistic physicians will be asked to drive the souls out of humanity."
The Fall of the Spirits of Darkness - Oct 7, 1917 (lecture 5)

How many of you think that our souls and our spirits are "rubbish" and that there is nothing more than this physical world and only what we can see?

How many of you think we are so much more that this body and this world?

A Little Bit of Heaven

Marley Corbett has always preferred to keep her romances relaxed and fun with no risk of commitment. But after she learns she has terminal cancer and becomes Dr. Julian Goldstein's patient, they both discover that love can change everything.

I am not the only woman or person that is very grateful that out of tragedy can come joy:

A Florida woman who was stabbed 32 times by her former boyfriend says she doesn't see the near-fatal attack as "anything bad anymore" because the paramedic who saved her life is now the love of her life.

While my life was difficult, I would not change anything if it would change where I am today. Although it took me a long time, see how love can change your life. I do wish that I could have let love in sooner but perhaps much benefit for others as well as myself will come out of my life and what happened.

It seems that fear of some kind is what many of us have to overcome.
Consider that if you are full of fear, how can you ever let love into your life.

If God is love, and you are full of fear, how can you ever let God into your life then?
The spirit of fear does not come from God. It comes from this world, from man and from darkness.

While I feel that we are all children of God, some, including myself at some points, choose another god or money or lust or power or something in place of God first. I found in my own life that “sin” does hurt. The abortion hurt and it killed not only a child but it killed my spirit and soul as well. Two birds with one stone on that one because for all my rationalizations and ideas about why I could not have a child at the time, I still felt that I had killed a child. That alone, caused me so much grief and pain that my life was lost at that point. So, did I sin? I don’t know but I do know that I did violate at least one or more of the ten Commandments and in so doing, I found that I hurt my own spirit and thus my relationship to God. I do know that by not putting God first and chasing after a great job and lots of money and a house and a nice car and such that I did fall away from God, thus hurting my own spirit. While there is nothing “wrong” with having these things, my priorities were out of whack. It was only when my health suffered and I became horribly sick that I got to stop and think about what I was doing. I do know that the fear from the trauma and stalking was not a sin but it hurt my spirit and soul. I do know that these “sins” and such did and do hurt me and that on at least one occasion I felt the very, very uncomfortable fire of the false god burning me because I was not protected by God or close enough to God to stop the false god from getting so close. It was not a pleasant experience and one which I don’t ever care to repeat. The fire of “hell” is not to be taken lightly. It burns mightily enough to cause pain without burning up the body.

So, is there “sin” in the world? I believe so. I do not feel that everything that one wants to do is okay and so, where does one draw the line. I do feel that there have to be some guidelines or moral laws which help guide us to a healthy way of living. To those who want to practice the “sins” of murder, rape, sexual abuse, pedophilia, genocide, power over others, starvation of children and other practices, they want to sin or do what they want and so they might welcome that there are no moral guidelines or no God to listen to in or out of the world. Instead of listening to God's word because He really does know what is best for us and He knows what hurts our souls and spirits, they want what they want and to not to have to answer to God or anyone else for what they are doing.

Any thoughts?

When you start to feel again or even deeper and start to understand how some of the energies work, then one starts to see the bigger picture. One really starts to see the true damage caused by some of these “sins” that some do not feel exist. Some practices are hugely damaging to our souls and spirits but many cannot see what is happening and so people take it lightly or more importantly, never realize exactly how much damage is being caused. If you could see or feel energetically the damage of sexual abuse, murder, rape, war, slaughter, drug and alcohol abuse and other practices in an energetic way, and what these practices attract into your lives, then things might change faster. It is horrific at times and very disturbing. Many see only the outward appearance of what has happened but not the energies behind what is out there.

If you could see some of the energies and the entities attached to some of the music, the movies, the symbols and many other things in the world today, it would probably make you very sick to your stomach. Many don't even know that just merely watching some of these movies or listening to the music is inviting darkness into their lives. Hiding from these things does us no good any longer because the energies are in the world whether or not we want them to be. It is up to each one of us, individually, and as a world, to decide what kind of energy we want in our world and then do something about it or something to help make those changes.

Taken directly from a psychic’s web site.

“Unlike some pseudo-psychics who tell people that their problems are caused by curses, evil entities, demons, or karmic retribution neither ==== nor ---- will blame the negative occurrences on your life on these things, and each of them feel it is important to advise their clients to not believe in such things. They do not exist.”

This psychic told a family that a missing loved one was dead. This loved one was found to be alive years later. Perhaps her family might not have given up looking for her if they thought she was still alive. This young woman could have been spared years of torture and sexual abuse.

Something to the effect of - Oh, sorry. I made a mistake. !!! Sorry I told you that your daughter was dead when she was really still alive.

Following someone else was what led me astray and then that person didn't want to take ANY responsibility for what she had said or done or any damage caused. Wouldn't even talk to me about it either. I took responsibility for my own choices and blamed nobody but she wouldn't even talk to me about anything.

Hold your teachers, gurus, guides or whatever they are to a higher level of responsibility and moral standards. Make sure they have the integrity and honesty to back up what they are teaching or saying. If they cannot take responsibility for what comes out of their mouth, get out of there.

That is one of the reasons why I have been so determined to learn to have a personal relationship with myself and with God and to tell others to try to do the same. There is no reason that you cannot have a relationship with your own spirit and with God. You don't need anyone in the middle.

While I personally do not feel that demonic entities and such are responsible for many of the negative things or illnesses or accidents that happen in our lives, I do feel that evil, darkness and demonic entities are real. Based upon my own personal experience God and evil are both real and those who tell you differently are lying to you.

Hold your spiritual teachers, of any kind, to a high standard. They are supposed to be leading you and guiding you spiritually in order to help set you free, not to enslave you in any way.

Them being "nice" does not necessarily set you free. I had to work very, very hard to feel free in this world. I still work at it every day.

Why does God concentrate on morals in His Book? There are many things He could have written about, but He chose to write a great deal about the morals of the people with whom He had made a covenant.

One reason is that morals are like a weathervane. They show the direction a nation, a church, or an individual is headed in.

A second reason why God concentrates on morals focuses on the prophets and the preachers. Why? Because He has appointed them to be the conscience of His people. Preachers tend to lead the people either into morality or immorality—one or the other. They are like the tip of the spear or the point of an arrow that points the direction of the nation. They are leading indicators. So it says in verse 30, "An astonishing and horrible thing has been committed in the land: the prophets prophesy falsely, and the priests rule by their own power."

Would any U.S. President or presidential candidate make an appeal to American citizens that the cause of our problems are spiritual in nature? If a national figure said before a group of people that the reason we are having troubles in the United States is that we need to repent and get back to our God, they would be laughed into shame and contempt. The reason we are seeing the immorality in the United States is the effect of listening to false ministers!

If you could feel and understand the energy of violation, of rape, of abuse, of killing and all that – one would understand a whole lot better what is happening. One would also be less likely to let it into his or her life or into the world. Dark energies are getting stronger in this world but so is the energy of light and of God.

This third sin is interesting because he is saying that it is not that these false prophets will not talk about Satan, but their speech is gratuitous, despising, or denigrating of angelic powers. Their preaching suggests that these demons are not something Christians need to be concerned about. They side-step the issue.

Why would they do that? Because a false spirit is leading them, so they downgrade the existence and powers of demons through their preaching. This is clearly seen in Protestant Christianity, especially the mainline denominations that have gone to the point that they almost universally agree that Satan the Devil and his demons do not really exist. It shows how successful the demons have been in their deceptions.

I think that God would want for each of us to be a leaf on the Tree of Life.

Once I started to trust God and let Him in, my life got a whole lot easier in so many ways.

1 My son, forget not my law; but let thine heart keep my commandments:

For length of days, and long life, and peace, shall they add to thee.

Let not mercy and truth forsake thee: bind them about thy neck; write them upon the table of thine heart:

So shalt thou find favour and good understanding in the sight of God and man.

Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.

In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths. ...

                                                                                                    Proverbs 3

There is a spiritual part to illness. Sometimes we do not physically get well but sometimes we do. Sometimes we find a bigger healing in our illnesses. Sometimes we die but we still learn something at the same time.

God's Grace Is Sufficient [when I constantly wanted to know how something worked or why it happened and what I could do to help myself – the hard answer came] God’s grace was sufficient for me and without it I was toast.

1 Corinthians 12:1-10

Grace from God is getting something that we don’t deserve.

2 Corinthians 12:9

King James Version (KJV)

And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.

2 Corinthians 12:9

New International Version (NIV)

But he said to me, My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me.

Grace defined: getting what we do not deserve.

An unmerited or undeserved favor from God.

Grace is a gift. A gift is not something given to somewhat because they are deserving. That would be considered a wage. A gift is something given by someone who loves the recipient. Understanding the Grace of God is crucial to experiencing the abundant of life Jesus desires for us. Let us reflect and ponder upon this thing called Grace.

I never wanted to be afraid of God, especially after growing up with Catholicism, but I do understand what fear of God means in a different way now that makes sense.

Consider: Does God make growth and overcoming easy for us, even though He promises salvation? Are there no battles to fight while overcoming? If God completely smoothed the way for us, what would we have to overcome? If He smoothed our way, how would He test our loyalty? Would we be prepared for His Kingdom? Of course, He does not make it easy for us. Each of our paths is designed and tempered to test us on the level of our natural abilities and gifts (I Corinthians 10:13 ). Therefore, each Christian's way will be difficult; each will have to fight many battles at his or her level.

                    "Rejection is God's protection."

Right now you’re probably thinking, “Wait a minute, that doesn’t sound right.  How can rejection be a form of protection?”  But I’m not talking about rejecting by God.  The Lord will never reject you – He will always love and accept you!  The rejection I’m talking about is the rejection you sometimes face in your own life.  When you feel like the world is rejecting you, whether at work, in your personal life or through the loss of something important to you, that may be God’s way of protecting you.

We no longer have to be at the mercy of others who would take advantage of us. If we desire a stronger connection with God then we can heal ourselves, our families, our cities, our towns, our countries and this world. God wants to help us but we must ask.

Try to imagine being a Dog Soldier. The tribe is under attack by a strong enemy, and the battle has turned against it. Everyone must flee to preserve his life and the lives of his loved ones, but the enemy is pressing the fight, eager to wipe out every man, woman, and child. So, despite being alone against hundreds, perhaps thousands, we turn to face the adversary, uncoil our dog rope, and drive our pin into the ground, prepared at least to delay the enemy so that others can escape. The hope is to slow down the foe for as long as possible, if just for a moment or two.

Sound familiar? Are we not in a similar, but spiritual, fight? Do we not face an adversary that wants to destroy us? Have we not committed ourselves to give our lives, if necessary? Matthew Poole, who published his commentary in 1685, makes a good point when speaking of "quit ye like men":

. . . you are as soldiers fighting against the world, the flesh, and the devil; do not behave yourselves like children, whom the least opposition will terrify and throw down; but like men, with a spiritual courage and fortitude, becoming such who have so good a Captain, and so good a cause.

I guess I woke up angry.

Some things just aren’t working well in this world and contributed to a great deal of suffering in my life. How about some new ways of doing things!

I personally would rather submit to the fire of God’s love than face a literal trial by fire from a nuclear weapon because that is all that I could understand, because I turned away from God and his love or for other reasons.

My thoughts and my comments reflect my own personal journey and ponderings of life. Your thoughts will reflect your journey.

Many psychics that I have met are truly caring and compassionate people with a desire to help others. The danger is that many can be and are being tricked by the dark side and the very nasty, albeit charming, things in the astral plane including fallen angels who show up as light beings, angels, demons and the astral shells of the dead. Your best bet is still to contact your own spirit and that of the Creator or Christ to help you.

When God arrives on the scene and descends to communicate with a man, He makes a difference in his life.

God's Word shows that true religion is having concern for and helping the weak, as well as showing hospitality and generosity to those who cannot return the favor (James 1:27 ). It is sacrificing oneself in service; as Christ said, "Greater love has no one than this, than to lay down one's life for his friends" (John 15:13 ). It is speaking the truth and being honest—even swearing to one's own hurt (Psalm 15:4 )—not backbiting or gossiping. True religion is not exacting the last cent on a deal, or impatiently watching the sun go down on the Sabbath to do one's business or pleasure.

True religion is

 1) A relationship with God (Matthew 22:37 ). Without a relationship with Him, we cannot know Him or understand His purpose for us.

 2) Submission and obedience to God as our part of the relationship (James 4:7-8 ). ...

 3) Real love for God's truth (II Thessalonians 2:10 ). Israel neither loved nor sought God's truth.

 4) Moral integrity (I Peter 3:8-12 ). Living in righteousness and holiness shows love toward God and man.

 5) Social responsibility (James 1:27). ...
These five points will not "buy" us into the presence of God, but rather they are five proofs that we follow true religion. Remember Jacob's dream. God chooses us and meets us at the foot of the ladder, making a difference in our lives. He gives us a way of life to follow, and we pledge to follow it. Thus, true religion is not a way to God but a way of living from God.
