I found that drawing and journaling helped me quite a bit in my recovery. Sometimes if I couldn't quite figure out what was happening, a drawing would help give me some insight by the colors that I used, the images that came to mind as I drew and shapes and such. Sometimes I would draw my dreams. Other times I would try to draw what I was feeling. It just kind of depended upon where I was at and if I was in the mood.

Try not to feel that you have to be perfect when you draw. It's all about getting in touch with what you are feeling and what your spirit is telling you about yourself.
